1 - When is AirHauler (AH) due for release? We're currently aiming for before Christmas 2008 (i.e. Mid to Late December). AirHauler is currently in Beta testing with a core team of testers - that team may be expanded prior to launch. If you feel you could contribute to the testing process, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - note that we do serious testing, it's not just a chance to play the game early! 2 - What is AirHauler?AirHauler is an application which runs alongside Micrsoft Flight Simulator to simulate running an air frieght or cargo company. You can buy bases at airports, buy aircraft to add to your fleet and accept jobs from clients to fly cargo from one airport to others. AirHauler tracks all that activity and your finances which include purchasing bases and aircraft, fuel, repairs and landing fees. AirHauler automatically loads Flight Sim with the correct fuel and payload already aboard and also features a "co-pilot" allowing you to quickly set radios and review your cargo status whilst flying within Flight Sim. AirHauler also generates a briefing for the flight with information on arrival and destination airports - all available in the Flight Sim kneeboard. 3 - Which versions of Flight Sim and Windows does AirHauler work with?AirHauler works with both FSX and FS9/2004 and with Windows XP and Vista - both 32 and 64bit versions. (it also works with Windows 7, but is not "offically" supported!) 4 - Where will I be able to get AirHauler from (and how much??)AirHauler will be published by Just Flight and will be available from their website as an electronic download version, or a boxed version. You'll also be able to find it in various retailers! Pricing is £24.45 for the download version, and £27.45 for the boxed version. (The download version imho is the easiest and quickest to get!) 5 - What do I need to use AirHauler? You'll need Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 or X, and the Microsoft .Net Framework 2, and Peter Dowson's FSUIPC (un-registered version is fine). Both the Framework and FSUIPC will probably be included in the AirHauler setup program, but if not, or you need to reinstall them, you can get them from: Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0: [Here] You want the x86 version for 32 bit windows, or X64 version for 64 bit processors FSUIPC from Peter Dowson's pages: [Here] You want Version 3.90 for FS9/2004 or 4.50 for FSX - it's important you get the right one!!! They'll be released the week of the 3rd March by Pete, and will be included in the AirHauler installer :)
